SOCO (Social Company) was founded in 2013. We were on the cusp of starting activites, when the political situation in the Kurdish-populated region disintegrated, which made it difficult to flourish in a time when the threat of ISIS overshadowed our work.This lasted for three years. We have had the good fortune to reemloystart our activities, and therefore registered the company anew in 2019. Jointly with its partner, Social company has a team of twenty-seven associated researchers, consultants, surveyors, project monitors, social workers and IT specialists, who together compose of young professionals, academics and experienced staff in the field of youth development, political science, international relations, economics, social sciences, education, business administration and media. SOCAIL is a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-lingual business,where diversity is respected and even more importantly, promoted.

With focus on social behavior, employment and education, SOCO rely on taking a specially-made approach, called HAWSANG. This approach is based on Aggression Replacement Training - ART, but a little different. Our approach, HAWSANG, work on three main goals; First goal is an approach to change extremist thinking in the minds of young people, who have been persuaded, involved or joined terrorist organizations (e.q. ISIS); The second goal is balance, which is intended for students during their primary/secondary years sin school, where we encourage them to establish a meaningful balance between school and family; The third goal is creating a curriculum for conflict resolution at work.
